There are regular car boot sales on the green at Stadhampton.
The next event
is usually advertised on this large wood
sign
near the main junction through
the village of Stadhampton.
Stadhampton is a small rural village in the South Oxfordshire countryside.
It is located about half-way between Thame and Wallingford, also with
easy access to Abingdon, Chalgrove, and Watlington.
At the centre of Stadhampton is a large green. This is kept is
beautiful condition and used for a wide range of social pursuits
including (at various times of the year), car boot sales, cricket
matches, and even a fairground. There is a large children's play
are in one corner. This is as far as reasonably possible from the
road and mini-roundabout junction at Stadhampton.
It includes
extensive play equipment. The village green is also right next
to a beautiful
little pond - which
may
be private
property,
we're
not sure.
