Images of Tarot Cards
This section of OxfordTarot.com includes a page about
each card in a general (typical) Tarot Deck.
            This particular section
is not about the Oxford Tarot Deck specifically.
The FREE Tarot Readings available on this website are using the Oxford Tarot Deck. They include images of the cards
drawn. We have not included a section for easy download of all
the Oxford Tarot cards from this website as these images are copyright.
(Contact us if you are interested in obtaining a printed
              deck of Oxford Tarot cards.)
These general pages about each card in the Tarot Deck do not include
images of Tarot Cards for important reasons:

              - Images of Tarot Cards are copyright.

We respects others' copyright as we expect our own to be respected.
We therefore only include images belonging to other persons
or organizations with the appropriate permission (e.g. as used
to link to Books and/or Tarot Decks available for
			    sale on the internet).

			    Also ...

              - Each Deck is different.

Because there are so many Tarot Decks available - many of which
are designed around a particular "theme", such as "Oxford"
                  - it would not be possible to include an image of the Tarot
                  Card
                  from
                  every
                  deck on one
                  page.
The descriptions of the meanings of the cards included
on this website are the most common and generally accepted
meanings. In some cases, text descriptions of some aspects
of the cards from specific (named) decks are also mentioned.
However, because each deck is subtly different from every other
deck (due to the symbolism used and the intention of the creator
and users), the only way to obtain a fully accurate description
of the possible meanings of any particular Tarot Card is to study
descriptions provided for that particular deck - ideally by
the artist or artists, and to absorb this information in conjunction
with one's own personal intuition and spiritual guidance.

The information and indications included on these pages are a
basic introduction for general interest only. Visitors are encouraged
to browse many books and other websites about the Tarot and also
to gain their own personal first-hand experience in order to more
fully appreciate the cards in the deck of their own personal choice.
